Job Purpose:

Reporting directly into the CEO, this newly created role will be responsible for the production and on-going maintenance of detailed, accurate and consistent monthly reporting, monthly key performance
indicators and capacity reporting. You will be extracting, interrogating and analysing data and making strategic recommendations accordingly to support business decision making.

Role Description

Corporate Dashboard
Create and maintain a business dashboard to include all key business metrics, all of which will need to be encapsulated visually and highlights all the business activities. To include:

  • Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) split between people, productivity and payroll
  • MRR growth year on year and month on month
  • Customer retention rates
  • New sales pipeline by month and probability levels
  • S4 product penetration analysis
  • Customer segmentation between single sites, 2-30 sites and 30+ sites
  • Development output – value of any new price growth products created
  • System speed
  • Numbers of valid system errors

Department Dashboard

Develop a core set of measures for each Head of Department that encompasses the whole department and highlights performance levels. The core departments are:


  • Development plan split between core categories as previously agreed
  • Development plan achievement against core business targets
  • Development team overall effectiveness in delivery against target timescales


  • Achievement of at least one piece of PR in Propel every month
  • Release of productivity tracker every quarter
  • National media measure of articles printed

Lead generation

  • Number of meetings organised
  • Number of sites per meeting
  • Success of meetings to second meeting


  • Number of meetings held with new customers
  • % success of converting customers
  • Average revenue per new site
    Account management
  • Number of business planning meetings held
  • Speed of query resolution
  • % increase in price per site


  • Speed from contract signature to set-up
  • Set up feedback form rating
  • Additional service sold through set-up

Support desk

  • Support ticket numbers
  • Support ticket first bespoke response speed
  • Support ticket full answer average

Payroll processing

  • Accuracy
  • Employee cost per £ revenue
  • % penetration of customer base


  • Cash projection accuracy
  • Debtor days
  • Invoicing accuracy

Recruitment and training

  • Time to hire process
  • Performance review of new recruits
  • Review of training plans

Personal Dashboard

Develop a core set of input and output measures for every person in the organisation, with a maximum of
three inputs and outputs, utilising all the core systems of Zendesk, Salesforce, Monday, S4, KashFlow.

Beneficial qualifications, experience, skills and key competencies:

  • CIMA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified would be advantageous
  • Educated to A-level essential or degree level is required
  • Previous experience of working in a similar role essential
  • Extensive analytical knowledge essential
  • Excellent data manipulation skills
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel, Power BI, Power Query required
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Be proficient in the use of MS Office
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry is an advantage
  • Demonstrate initiative and self-confidence; have good judgement and decision-making capabilities
  • Implement and strive for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to constructively challenge existing work practices and suggest new ways of working
  • Have strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Have a strong sense of prioritisation and take ownership of tasks
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Be keen to learn new computer systems and programs
  • Have good organisational and planning skills
  • Confidentiality and discretion are essential
  • A genuine interest in the business and the hospitality industry, with a passion to want to succeed in
    the role is essential
